On Sunday (June 23) at 9:00PM, Larry Smith showcases the talents of Jeffrey Harwell (making his cabaret singing debut) and Key West virtuosa Melody Cooper. Jeffrey, an artist at the Studios of Key West, and the owner of the graphic design business "j design company", toured the United States with the renowned Texas Boys Choir and was a sensation in the Waterfront Playhouse’s production of "The Drowsy Chaperone". Melody Cooper, who leaves for Spain after this showcase to sing at master classes in Granada and Madrid, is a pianist, a harpist, an ukuleleist, and a vocalist, and looks forward to sharing some new original songs, some favorites, and previewing her upcoming concert Spanish Rhapsody 3.  Next week’s Larry Smith Sunday Showcase Guest will be singers Alex Okinczyc (June 30).

The Larry Smith Jazz Jams are held on Mondays at 9:00PM featuring this week (June 24) drummer Richie Ciavolino and bassist Tim McAlpine. These sessions have become a requisite for visiting professional musicians and are a weekly meeting place for local instrumentalists and singers to share their creativity in a relaxed, spontaneous, and improvisational forum. Larry Smith invites everyone to participate.
