On Sunday (May 18) at
9:00PM, Larry Smith showcases the talents of beat poet,
composer, performing musician, and unpublished novelist Chief
Billy. Chief Billy returns to performing with Larry Smith while
on a break from vying for the Guinness Book of Word Record for
unpublished works (the Chief has completed three unpublished
manuscripts and is currently working on his fourth). The Chief’s
multi-cultural heritage and ethnic American background
contribute to his music, insights, and commentaries being unique
– but also tied to our common experience somewhere between Kurt
Vonnegut and Mose Allison. Next week’s Larry Smith Sunday
Showcase Guest will be singer Queen Kathleen (May 25).
The Larry Smith Jazz Jams
are held on Mondays at 9:00PM with Skipper Kripitz on drums and
Tim McAlpine on bass.
Ladies Night with Larry
Smith takes place on Tuesdays at 9:00PM where this week Larry
will be joined by Vicky Roush (May 20).
Smith begins performing at
